    Holley Fuel Inlet Fitting - Wrench?

    Hi everyone,

    My Holley started leaking at the fuel inlet. I removed the fuel line to tighten them but can't get anything to fit. It takes a 1 inch wrench but I can't get anything to fit - socket, open/box end wrench - they all hit the fuel bowl. I even tried putting a fitting in the inlet so I could use a smaller socket but it doesn't tighten the inlet, only the fitting itself. Then there's the problem of getting the fitting off without loosening the inlet. Any suggestions? Is there a special tool made for this?

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Hello Jack;
    There are thin wrenches available.
    Have a 1" wrench about .125 (1/8") thick.
    Not close to my tools at this writing, but believe it's a MAC.

    Email if you can't find a supplier.
    Regards.

      Thanks Ray. Did you use an open or box end?

        grind material off the sides of a 1" open end wrench such that the wrench will grab the fitting without damaging the holly.mike

          Here's another link from last June that discusses bowl fitting solutions.
