Hi Jerry, I recently purchased a shift cover for my 1962 from a shop that has some T-10 parts in Campbell, Ca. It is called All Standard @ (408) 379-7290. The owner is nice to deal with.

I buy ALL of my 4sp parts from Larry Fischer of D & L Transmission. None finer to do business with. If you call him, tell him I referred you.

As Tom mentioned, Larry Fischer is an excellent source for parts. I don't know if this shaft is being currently reproduced by anyone. The Muncie mainshaft is being reproduced but I just don't know about the T-10. But, I would expect that used pieces are available.

As far as NOS is concerned, what you're looking for is a GM #3783314, but it was discontinued without supercession in April, 1981.

Curiously, there were 2 different T-10 mainshafts used over the 57-63 period. 1957-60 used GM #3743450; 1961-63 used GM #3783314. Both were the same length and I believe both were 16 spline. I don't know what the difference was.

The difference is toward the front of the mainshaft, between 2nd and third gear.
