I bought lots of stuff from them. I even returned a defective part a year later and they exchanged it for me. I'm like a kid in a candy store in their tent!

The nice thing about them is you can see the stuff right there as opposed to dealing with couriers or having stuff delivered to Carlisle by the vendors. Most of which, you have to pay as you order without seeing any of it.

Its not the same stuff everyone else is selling. They do have things repro'ed themselves, and also carry other vendors parts as well.
Ive known Kent for many years now and he's a trustworthy, standup, genuinely nice guy. Do not hesitate to buy there and there is absolutely nothing "fly-by-night" about them. Do not be fooled by a lack of a website: he's been in the biz before the Internet was.

I agree with Steve I have been buying Parts from Kent for years, they are even doing fibreglass now.

Keith, they are always at Spring Carlilse but I don't think they go to fall anymore because of the tax thing

I too have bought from Kent and Smart Parts many times in the past. They have been fair and even discounted some parts. Prices are very good compared to some others. Best thing is you can look at the part in your hand. Like most vendors, some parts quality is not the best....so look at the part closely. They bring a few of almost every item you could want....but get there early because the popular sizes or colors or "hard to find items at a good price" go quickly. Returns are not a problem either. Their customer base at the shows has gotten bigger and bigger. Not "fly by night" by any stretch of the imagination.

Ditto on what Richard and Tom iterated. Kent is great guy and he supplies quite a few other Corvette part vendors.

Funny how people on this thread "speculate" without knowing the facts

Taxes, Train collectors Association has had 2 toy train meets a year in York, Penn. They started the states sales tax, and the next fall the city sent a lady around with a big cop, collecting sellers licenses and sales taxes. York train now half of what it used to be. Dale
