I had the same problem for a 1969. The spare was original with the original tire. I took this to the paint store to use as a match. The tire did not have enough flat surface area to try a 'computer match'. We mixed 'argent silver' in laquer from a previous post which of course is just silver. We must have spent an hour adding green laquer until it was close. It turned out pretty good and is close to the original spare, but could probably have a little more green.

I agree with Greg that there are variations in color and coverage. Again, I have never seen much consternation on the judging field about it. I would say do the best you can and don't lose any sleep over it.

Not to steal post but was wondering if anyone knows paint code for 1970 Z28 rally wheel paint, have a set that needs restoring.............Thanks .....Kirby
