what would have to be done to make it work or maybe it will not work.might be too much hassle to put into a vett,please advise.

No way is it a direct cross. Plan on grinding off welds. Obtaining and rewelding correct bracket. Shortening the steering shaft. I know that the upper end will be small enough to fit through the Corvette dash but shrouds and/or the escutcheon for 1967 would still be required. I know that a few have been converted, but it was only because they just couldn't find a real Vette column.

You will need to remove the lower shaft. It is press fit and secured with a welded cross pin. There is a guy that fabricates the shaft ends but I can't remember his name. You will also need a new jacket. You can buy that and most other parts thru Long Island Corvette.- Top
