My dealer was John Williams of Williams Chevrolet, PO Box 689, Anderson, South Carolina and is out of business under that name. Now called Upstate Chevrolet. Also looking for any information about Williams Chevrolet that I can find.

My car's original dealer was Fencl-Tufo Chevrolet in Illinois which I called out of the blue one day to see about document retention. Their name had changed to Sunrise Chevrolet. No dice on documents of course after 37 years, but in one of those weird strokes of fate going to Bloomington Gold from Florida last year I drove right past it on the way to the show. I was tempted to use one of the free oil change coupons that came with the car and went unused all these years.

Oh wow! you should have stopped for that oil change, you know they'd get a kick out of it and give you one! You know they'd be talking about that for a long time to come.

I thought about it. I figured even if they could have supplied the oil they would have thought I was a little pushy demanding a white PF-25 filter.

A real shame about that dealership. It looks like all it needs is a few rows of Camaros, Equinox, Impalas Trucks and Vettes. So we are left to assume that either those cars can't sell/are not viable in that area or something more nefarious (ie politics) led to their demise.
