Sounds like you and other groups from distant lands had a wonderful California experience. I had the good fortune to visit your neck of the woods, in Amsterdam and nearby many times when N.V. AMEV owned a Milwaukee Insurance company in the '80s, then combined with VSB Groep, part of Dutch bank, which combined with a Belgian insurer, AG to form FORTIS. You know what happened next.

Next episode, late summer-early fall, takes place in San Simeon at the Hearst Castle circa 1962. Maybe you drove by going up the coast. Always grateful for your kind words.

We did visit the Hurst Castle so I'm very interresting what you have to tell us about it and your own adventures at this wonderfull place...

PS do you also have a story about the Winchester House in San Jose? I thought that was also a highlight attraction of the area...

Upcoming later the Vette goes to Stanford University in Menlo Park after meeting a co-ed at a local "establishment", and the three of us take on the Winchester House in SJ....1963. Not the big deal then, as the place was poorly maintained.

You'll also like the episode with the Vette staying at the old Del Monte Lodge (now the Lodge at Pebble Beach) where love blooms under "The Lone Cypress" on 17 mile drive....in 1962 it had no guy-wires holding it up and you could park off the road and go over and put your hands on it.
