If it's a 7 blade AND it's a 3955182, it will have that number stamped on one of the blades. I've looked at a lot of these and I've never seen one that didn't. However, there are lots of other "incorrect" 7 blade fans that don't have the numbers that someone could have previously installed.

I've only cleaned the dirt and grime off; I haven't stripped the 40 year old paint yet, plus not knowing where to focus doesn't help matters.

I'll have to post some pics of the one that was on my car; don't think it looks like either of those and I don't think it has a 66 on it. It looks more like the blades on my 73 454 without that little top tit.
