The Vette lost some points at the Wisconsin Regional on Paint....specifically, too much gloss below the front and rear bumpers, near the bottom, and around the fender margins. Fortunately, I had taken Scotch-Brite scuffing pads and some light work with rubbing compound to door jams and trunk and hood gutters, and that turned out very well. And I'm sure I can get the same effect at the fender margins.
But I worry that with a larger area with no break, even though its lower to the ground, I won't get an even reduction of the gloss. The car is white.
Does anyone have any ideas how to do this and make a decent job of it, short of a new paint job
.
Thanks for any suggestions you have.
