Re: Early or Late 63?
James;
That's the way it was; a plain white ball. I suspect that someone changed it at the dealers as the car sat there an extra week waiting for me. They had to stamp two delivery dates on the tag (my home leave was delayed at White Sands). As I said, I didn't know the difference as all the cars I played with before going into the service had plain whites.
Michael;
That's why I love the 63's - so unique. Incidently, my son Brian (78 PC) will be up at St. Charles for the B.G. on Thursday. I told him I thought you may be there as well, and to keep an eye out and say hello. He wants me to come up too, but the wife will be out of the country and no one to take care of the dog. Had him in the Kennel during our recent trip to Cal., and he's still recovering from that. Guess I'll settle for a Saturday night at Old Town (if there is no rain forecast).
