    Here's a shot of my 72's passenger and driver door. I believe it's original paint.
    The blackout covers mostly the door panel side with over spray along the edge of the door front.

      Bryan's photos are much more typical of original paint cars.

        My 71 was repainted and they tried to make it look original but used tape and therefore it is a line not overspray. Since I am doing a restoration on a car that has been repainted I will end up looking like Doug's--which I think looks great. Hard to mimic the original overspray.

          That it is. We lose more and more original cars to repaints.

            The judging manual says paint is semi-gloss to semi-flat black. I have both colors from quanta which should I use? They have already been partially repainted so I don't have the original color to compare to---which would let decide which color.
