    1967 wiring

What makes the "lights" indicator flash on the cluster when the headlights are on, but the buckets are not up? A have a 67 with all new wiring and new limit switch's, what could be the problem? Everything else works.

    Jeremy,

are you saying that the warning light is not flashing?

You also need a specil bulb (I think a 257 but not positive) otherwise it will only light up when activated and go off when limit switches are activated. And not flash as intended.

Yes, Rich is correct, the lamp used in the '67 headlight warning position on the dash is a 'flasher' lamp (GE #257) which has a special filament to make it blink. Your copy of the owner's manual should have a lamp chart which calls out what lamps are used where in the car...

Not installing the special blinker bulbs in mid-year cars is a VERY common restoration mistake that judges see all the time.
