    67 wiring issue

I am getting a 67 frame off finished. All new wiring. It is blowing the 20 amp fuse (courtesy, hazards, clock and lighter). Unplugged all of that and started plugging one in at a time until we found it is the door jamb switch's. Everything is fine until you put either jamb switch in, then the fuse blows. Either one does the same thing. Any thoughts? They are original switch's. Haven't tried some repoes I have yet.

    Jeremy -

Do you have the correct courtesy/dome/rear compartment light bulbs (#90 double-contact)?

To completely isolate the issue, did you plug in the door jamb switches first to see if it blows with no other load on the circuit? If it is definitely the switches then I would try the repo's just for kicks. If it still blows with the new switches then you need to find the short along those wires.

That was it. I had the rear cargo bulb with a single. Thanks

Can any of you guys help me with my ignition problem? I have another post right after I first posted this one.
