I am working on a C2 Coupe with black interior. The NOS brown plastic trim around the rear window does not like the "spray dye" sold by Paragon and recommended for use with "Vinyl - Leather - Plastic - Carpet". Perhaps it was the plastic primer that I used, but the second repaint still came out with some very dull and some semi-gloss areas. I'd call it blotchy, if that is a word...
I'm sanding with 600 and will try Krylon or John Deere Blitz black next. I will test on the back side first.
Also, on the windshield inside trim, it appears the lower bottom pc. is more dull than the sides and top. I am thinking of not painting that part, because it sure looks original and I don't like glare. It looks as if it never did match...
