Front shock bolt question nut striped

The nut that is welded on the lower a-arm that holds the shock bolt is stripped. One out of two.
The bolt will not tighten properly. I tried lock tite doesn't work.
Should I tap the next size up bolt ? Thinking of liquid metal and re tap .

How about a Helicoil? Should be undectable once the assembly is together.

Remove the A-arm, actually just undo the ball joint & remove spring, & weld in a new nut. There is too much load on this bolt for anything else to work. Or, if you want a quick fix, get a longer bolt & stack a nut on top of the old one.

Thanks I think stacking a nut with a longer bolt will get me through the summer. I will weld a new nut on in the fall. Thought of a Heli coil not sure if I can install it with the a arm on.
