1970 Wiper Vacuum Actuator Canister.

The actuator has (2) mounting studs that have a circular (pan head) shape at the actuator flange end ----What is the correct surface finish of these circular heads? ---- did it get the same gold cadium plating as the rest of the canister and mounting flange or something else?

My recollection is that the studs were plated just like the rest of the actuator assembly. I believe they were part of the assembly when it was plated.

I took mine off plugged the nipple & had the whole thing gold anodized. They worked fine.
