Are there current reproductions available for 1972 T3 Headlamps? I've not been able to find anything. If not, what can be used to minimize the points deducted in flight judging?

Re: T3 Headlights for a '72
Unfortunately, we're on our own. These were a 1yr only production for the Corvettes and I believe for any of the other 72GM "4 small headlight" cars. That's why nobody is reproducing them. They used to be able to be found for $25-$40 ea. The last 2 Hi Beam set I saw sold for $150. for the pr with several people bidding on them. Yes, I passed at $80.
The point loss is very clear in the judging manual. I don't believe they give partial credit for the same brand but wrong year. That would be an answer from the judges here. Not much help for you, but at least you know to stop looking- Top

Re: T3 Headlights for a '72
Buy two original high beam 72 T-3's as they should be reasonable in price. This shoud get you condition points and save half the deduction. If you can't find any bulbs E-Mail me as I have a source for the bulbs you need.Lyle
