Would any significant frame rust show up in an NCRS inspection? I am sure it would to a point but here is my reason for asking.
I am looking at a C3 convertible (long distance and e-mail at this point) to purchase and the owner (who thus far has been very forthcoming and helpful about any questions that I have asked) noted that the frame had only surface rust. The car was was judged at 2nd flight in a show aprox 8 yrs ago. It scored a 491 out of 574 (86%) possible points on the chassis section. So would this help (from afar) in determining if the car has any major rust issues?
I just joined the NCRS and have ordered my judging guide but I want to move faster than the mail. Any help is appreciated!
