Brake light on Right side of 64

My brake light and blinker on the right side dosen't work. Tail light is fine. I've checked bulbs and grounds. Since right side works, that eliminates the brake switch, could it be turn signal switch? Left side turnsignal works in rear but not in front.

    Help

Dan, Do You Have A Test Lamp? Have You Pull The Bulb And Checked For Power To The Rear Socket Either With The Turn Signal On Or Brake Lamp Depressed.

I have checked with a test lead on the right side with the pig tail unplugged and I have no power to right rear side for brake or turn signal

Dan. Next Step Is To Check For Power At Directional Switch Under Steering Column-i Dont Have A Wiring Dia. In Front Of Me But I Think The Direction Wire Colors Are Green And Yellow One The Left The Other Is Right, Turn Directional On And Look For Power At One Of Those Wires,if You Have Power , Start Tracing That Wire To The Rear For An Open, If Not, Its The Column Switch.

That was it, pulled the connector down to check and there was a wire that was pulled out of connector, Plugged it back in and everything is now fine. Thank you much Ed,

            Dan,
A few of us from here on the east coast have a feeling that was not the cause of your problem, we would like to come out and look at it. We would not take up much room.
