    Tach Drive Lubricant

    What kind of grease should I use to lube up a generator tach drive ?

    Hi Mark
    The auto supply stores have a speedometer cable lube.
    It is a fine oil base graphite material.

      If you're talking about the internal gearing in the tach drive gearbox on the back of the generator, I've always used white Lubriplate "A" on my 57's, never had a problem.
