    '63 Steering Damper Rubber Inserts...

Anyone know where to get the rubber grommets that on either side of the steering damper? My damper still has good resistance, but rubber rot on those grommets.

Maybe I could make some out of an old tire???

I believe these are the same as the SERVICE lower rear shock grommets, GM #3735334. They are now GM-discontinued but are available from sources like Dr. Rebuild and Paragon.

      Joe,
Thanks for the idea. I looked at the old shocks that I took off and the rubber from those are absolutely prefect. Thanks again...Irby
