C2 Fiberglass repair

The fiberglass tab that the top center of the 67 grille fastens to is broken(See photo). I want to fabricate a repair. I question whether the remaining piece of the tab has enough area to which to bond the new fiberglass. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sure, Randy, just taper the edges, apply layers of resin & matte, grind, sand, fill, sand until the repair replicates the original, drill, prime and paint.
Be sure to elimate the cause of the original damage and that the grill does not hold your repair in a bind that may cause a re-fracture of the tab.

You might want to spend some time on the backside of the repair also. This is a common area that is looked at for a repair by purchasers and others.
