undercoat removal help..

Trying to remove undercoat on this tire lid but I think my heat gun is too small, is there a better method, PIA!!!! Comments and suggestions are appreciated. How about paint stripper??

Hit with home heating oil, let set, blow off with pressure washer. Get rest off with brake cleaner spray (good ventilation a must). I'm assuming undercoating is the old stuff.

Kerosene and some plastic scrapers, either the type you use for drywall or the type you use for spreading Bondo.

Thanks Alan and Chuck, Kerosene it is because it's supposed to be odorless, I will try tomorrow in the garage.

I used Gunk engine degreaser on mine and it worked fine. Just have to be patient and wait for it to do its thing before trying to remove the coating.
