Thanks. I had been looking for a C-2 for a while and when I saw this, I could not resist. Never seen another like it. Plan on driving it a lot!

Brian, Honestly it has nothing..no options! I have the tank sticker and it only has 2 items listed. They are... Standard Engine (300 hp) and Standard Transmission (3 speed). Not very appealing until you think about and put it with the color combo. I believe it may truly be a 1 of 1 car. More valuable? I don't care! I like the car the way it is and like I said I plan on driving it!

John, congrats on your purchase. Jim is correct in that black/teal is very rare. I used ot own a black/bright blue 435 coupe that I tripled crowned in 06. I was told that it also a very rare combo ie. less than ten total. The car is stunning to say the least. I am glad a friend bought it from me so I can still visit it as it is only ten minutes away.

            Steve,
What a beautiful car! I am sure I would be drooling on it if I saw it in person! question on the exhaust. It is painted along with heads. Is that normal? Did they actually do that on original cars? Just trying my best to learn as much as possible.

John, I believe that the mainfolds were painted with the engine when new. Enjoy your car!

                John,

For 67, there was some degree of coverage on big blocks whereas small blocks are typically natural.

There was a black / teal convertible at the Auburn IN regional in 2006. IIRC, it was a 437 / 400, definitely a 427. Striking color combo. My favorite

                    Kewl Car!
Craig, I remember those CVF cars and recall them as having Bright Blue interiors.
Steven, RPO on a BB would have the Teal Stinger.
The pic definitely appears to be 414, but, Jim would definitely know the difference.

Re: 67 Black over Teal coupe

About 12 to 15 years ago, after the Mason Dixon Chapter formed, there was a fellow here in Maryland who had a 67 BB, black and teal.

Had a teal stinger. It was a roadster with a hardtop, as I recall.

Don't remember if it was a 390-400-435 car. He lived in Upperco, MD.

I'm having trouble remembering his name, as he dropped out of sight a decade or so ago.

I think his name was Gino Antonelli.

Joe, I know that car, it is a black/bright blue 435 owned by a friend of mine who lives in Ohio. Neat car.

Keith...Not yet. Hopefully will be able to take some more pics today. Will post later.
Mike...Were you referring to my picture of the trim tag? I can guarantee it is 418AA. I am looking at my copy of the tank sticker (original is on the tank. I have removed gas door and boot and verified it is there and the numbers).
                            Tank sticker reads..
                            02900AA TUXEDO BLACK
                            02418AA DK/BLUE VINYL TRM
Funny thing about the whole tank sticker is that when I purchased the car the consigner only had the copy and said the original must be lost. I actually talked to Hank Lapcheck (person who owned/restored it in 92) and he explained he had put the tank sticker back on the tank! Any opinions out there on wether I should leave it there or take it off?

I'd take it off immediately! It's life will be shorter than need be in it's current location.

                                Congrats John!!

I have a picture of a BB '67 vert that is in Texas I believe. The owner sent it to me a couple of years ago. It's a stunning combo! His had the blue stinger and a teal top! Very cool. The pic is on my work computer and I will try to post it tomorrow.
