67 Black over Teal coupe

Just wanted to ask if any one out there knows of any Tuxedo Black (900 paint code) with Dark Blue Teal (418 vinyl) 67s out there. Jim Gessner found one last month and I purchased the car. Very excited to say the least! Jim indicated that there were very few of these color combination cars made. (maybe as few as 3). Any body own one? Know of one? Let me know.

John, that sounds like a neat combination! If a BB, what is the hood stripe color?

a few years ago at Chevy - vettefest in Chicago there were two black BBs
with blue interior with matching blue stingers. can't remember if they had teal or the bright blue interiors. I do know that it is a rare and striking color combination.

It is actually a 300hp 327 3 speed zero option car with docs (p.o.p. and tank sticker) It is a beautiful car that I have only owned for a week now. Hank Lapcheck restored this car in 91-92 and had it Top Flight more then once P.V. and finally achieved Duntov award (I believe in 97). Car has 33,500 original miles on it and drives like new! Jim told me that he was only aware of two other Black/Teal cars made. Both were big block roadsters is what he remembered. I would really like to post some pics but have been unable to attach them. Any advice?

John, it's a 63 black/saddle/tan top combo. P/S, P/B, AM/FM, 250hp and a hardtop.

Beautiful car!

In '68 I had a friend who had a roomate with a teal (in and out) '67 coupe. He had an accident with it and during repair decided to repaint. He did it in black and it looked great!

Trim tag is 900 Tuxedo Black and 418AA Dark Teal Blue vinyl. Picture of drivers seat shows color better. See pics.

John, as I recall there was a BB Convertible at the Boston Nationals and a 435 Coupe sold at Mecum St Charles in 2007 both in that color combination. I am uncertain if they were Teal or Bright Blue, however. I have pics somewhere. It is very striking, I agree.
