For what its worth, an old time mechanic showed me how to lock a pair of Vise grips over the open end of the flare wrench, to keep the open end of the "C" from opening up. He then used the wrench and Vise grip like a "t" handle wrench. A little penatrating oil and it did not round off the nut on the brake line. I hope I explained ths clear enough. Dale- Top

what are the bleeder valves for on the master cylinder? All the bench bleeding tips I've found don't use these. Can I simply put a hose to these bleeders rather than use the brake line ports in order to bleed the MC?- Top

The bleeders on the master cylinder serve no useful purpose, which is why they were eliminated.- Top
