These are the best money spent! My knuckles, my fittings, and my attitude are all thankful! Without doubt, on hand tools, you get what you pay for!

For what its worth, an old time mechanic showed me how to lock a pair of Vise grips over the open end of the flare wrench, to keep the open end of the "C" from opening up. He then used the wrench and Vise grip like a "t" handle wrench. A little penatrating oil and it did not round off the nut on the brake line. I hope I explained ths clear enough. Dale

        Great tip, Dale

I recently had to buy new brake caliper lines when I recently removed the calipers. Wish I had your tip then.

what are the bleeder valves for on the master cylinder? All the bench bleeding tips I've found don't use these. Can I simply put a hose to these bleeders rather than use the brake line ports in order to bleed the MC?

            Greg -

The bleeders on the master cylinder serve no useful purpose, which is why they were eliminated.

If you replace the seals yourself use ONLY brake fluid for the cleaning of the cyliders and pistons. DO NOT USE any other solvent.. Dont ask how I know.
