Let me try again. Can someone post pictures of a 62 jack and tools with top and bottom plate and any stampings? Thanks!

Re: 1962 Jack and tools
John,
Here are pictures of an unrestored original '62 jack. I'll take some pictures of the tools later today.
Hope this helps.

Re: 1962 Jack and tools
If you have the Corvette Restorer CD, there is a past entire article with pictures of the 53-61 and 62 jacks, with descriptions of both. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check out what's already been done.- Top

John, attached are drawings for the jack tool and tire wrench. Believe these drawings were in effective through '62. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Re: 1962 Jack and tools
Gary and John -
Dimensions may be spot on but the tang at the end of the jack handle was not spoon shaped for '62 as in the drawings but instead as shaped in my earlier posting. Same is true for the lug wrench where the drawing shows the hub cap removal end almost straight with the handle. In '62 it had a very pronounced bend at this point. Also see earlier jpg.
John, look for the raised letter "O" (Otterburn Manufacturing Co.) on the lug end of an original lug wrench. CC 's repro at least when last looked does not have the "O".
These drawings, at least from appearance, seem to be for '61 and prior.
Just to clarify.
