If someone in the Driveline sells a tank just the same with no logo and you can't see it when installed would you pay $100. for the logo stamp?

I'm still checking to confirm the details, but I believe for $90 less ($180 vs. $270 inc. S&H) you can get the exact same tank with the OL Anderson logo by going thru a reseller other than Quanta. I'm happy to support Driveline advertisers, but not if I have to pay a 50% premium, which is what it amounts to in this case.

Quanta vs. Spectra; I stand corrected

I believe that the less expensive Spectra version does not carry the OL Anderson logo. So, it now makes sense to me why the Quanta version is worth a premium, albeit $90 is a bit steep for a logo that one can't see when installed.

Now the question is have they corrected the Anderson logo emboss? The first repro tanks I saw from Quanta had the 'A' embossed in a 90-degree rotation from factory original Anderson tanks.

Sometimes those making 'correct' reproductions make small, intentional, differences to distinguish their product from the original they're duplicating. I don't know if this was the reason for the emboss being rotated or whether they've fixed/changed the emboss orientation in subsequent production runs...
