I do not know Al personally, but I can say from attending his presentation that he is certainly passionate about his material. He seems to be very unselfish to me with his time and information. I feel that he is a great asset to the hobby.

Sidenote: The number of cars in ProTeam's inventory was mind boggling.
      Mike thanks for the pictures,
I took my red L88 Conv. there to the seminar , but i had to leave to go to wedding in Philly

      Regards Tom

The name Pro team makes me sick. I got ripped like you would not believe by this so called company. A good driver in my books doesn't mean a car that cannot be driven because the motor is totally stuffed. I live in Australia and it's a bit hard to give it back. So over 10k later my car is what should have been delivered. Terry has touched me and I'm not happy. Sorry but Pro Team is on my black list.

I was around when he started, and was called Terry Michaelis Corvettes and sold his cars in a newspaper style catalog. I found a few of his old catalogs this summer as I was cleaning out some of my Corvette stuff. Then came the bankruptcy.

            Stuart,

I'm sure that you flew over to take a look at your newly purchased Corvette or you had some responsible person inspect it for you!

A good inspector (such as Motor Man Clem) could have spotted an issue with the motor in a few minutes.

As you know, it always pays to have a second opinion.

              Re: Proteam Seminar

Joe I had spent thousands on getting these cars looked at over a 2 year period and none of them come back with what they said they were, lots of people didn't want to deal with someone overseas they thought they were going to get touched. The ones that were true and honest were sold before I could get a chance. The only way I was going to get one was to buy one. So I went supposedley to the most reputable dealer in the states and still got shafted. I knew there would be a few things that would be over looked, I'm handy with a spanner, but that still doesn't give someone the right to screw you over. Hey I love the car it's what I have always wanted just didn't need to deal with plain dishonesty. Anyway that was 7 months ago and hundreds of hours and bucket loads of cash later and it's now how I should have received it. Dealers are there to make money and I respect that. Sometimes the truth gets streched a bit further than it should and someone has to pay for it in this case that was me. I wish I had realised at the time there was a NCRS !!!!!!

Just received my year end sale catalog. ProTeam is for sale. Anyone want to go in with me and buy it?
