    Thanks!

Your right, it seems fairly basic work.

I had already checked the coils and they have continuity. When I originaly purchased Zip's rebuilt kit, I wanted a deluxe kit with diaphragms, however, it appears they only have them for 64-75 rebuild kits. Unless your telling me the diaohragms from this kit will fit 61 horns (441 & 442)?

    Regards,

    Dennis

    They are not interchangeable.

They might "adapt" however, with some modifications.

ONLY if the 351/352 diaphragms are larger than the 441/442, then they can be cut down to match your old ones. If the old magnet is different from the new one, then you can carefully remove both the old and new magnets from both diaphragm pairs. Using proper tap drill and tap, tap hole in old magnets, and install on modified new diaphragms using machine screw flat washer and loctite.

Lotta trouble, but do-able ONLY if there is enough material on the new diaphragms to allow cutting to proper size.

Do I "smell" potential Restorer article??

      Joe,

You were reading my mind - I am already searching for information to help determine if they are larger then the ones I have. While it would be a bit of work, it may be doable.

Anyone have a pair of 351/352's they could measure?

      Regards,

      Dennis

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure they are the same size as the 441/442.
