    '56-'57 wheel covers

Is there any way to determine a set of reproduction wheel covers from the original ones, other than the obvious dings from 50+ years of use?

I am not sure if the repos have the manufactuer stamp near the air valve hole on the reverse side.

    Others will reply.

Repro's dont have the factory markings you see here , this is how you know your looking at original's.

This is great info, however, it might be worth mentioning that if you are having your car judged, the judges will not be able to see this stamping.

I was advised finish of the center of the spinner, with the wording and crossed flags, is different than the originals. Is this accurate?

The originals have a ice blue tint verses repos are a little yellowish in the sunlight also.
