Well deserved! John has been a stalwart on this Board for years, patient in answering the posts of members with all levels of Corvette or general automotive knowledge and contributory of all manner of historical insight from his time with GM. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman in person, but I've certainly enjoyed posts back and forth with him and his assistance to me in many areas has been invaluable...

Hi John,
Just saw Patrick's post for the first time and I think this is a long overdue recommendation. Going back to the old GMAD days, I can remember what a whiz kid you were in Lordstown. Not to mention probably what was the climax of your "car days" as Plant Manager at the Prowler and Viper plant for Chrysler. Plus seeing your Ferrari at the car shows in Rochester. Some people have so much gasoline in their veins you can never get it out!

Based on all the prior posts you can see how many people of all walks of Corvette life have benefitted from your willingness to provide information, including me. Isn't it interesting that mother GM and Chrysler may now be one? What a hoot!

Anyway, my only concern about you recieving this award is why it wasn't bestowed many years ago. You have been, and continue to be the ultimate Corvette Enthusiast. Hope to see you in Orlando in January.
