    67 Power Brake Booster Question

My 67 big block has a 5867 number stamped on the left side tab and a 309 number on the back of the same tab.
I was told the 309 number is the Julian date code of Nov. 11/66 which seems correct for my December 16th build. However I was told that the 67 booster should have a 7011 number instead of the 5867 number. I can not find anything in the Judging manual that gives the part number.
Can anyone tell me which number is correct?
    Thank you in advance.

I can tell you that the early 1967 power brake booster was GM #5455867 and has the derivative "5867" embossed on it. So, I would say that all is well for you. Later 1967 used booster GM #5458832. I THINK this one has "8832" embossed on it.

I don't know what it says in the JG, but what I have said above is what I believe.

Joe is correct. The 7011 was last used for the 65 and 66 model. There were some internal changes for the 67 booster which I think were a result of the new style master cyl used that year so I don't think GM would have used the 7011 even for early production 67's.

Thanks for the information Joe and Michael. It sure pays to ask you guys the questions. I almost traded my original booster for a 7011.
