There's a 66 on eBay with a 427/390, auto, air, power, headrests for sale, white with red interior, supposedly 1 of 20 built. Does anyone know this car? I'm interested in it, although not for the buy-it-now price of $129,000. Anyone care to venture a guess as to its reasonable worth? Thank you.

If it's a St. Louis body, with a white interior the trim tag will tell if it's "real" or not (at least in terms of the A/C, Powerglide, power windows, and headrests); if it's an A.O. Smith body, it won't. Got a link?- Top

John, forgive my ignorance, but how would a St Louis trim tag provide you with information with respect to A/C, power windows, etc.?- Top

Re: Rare 66 on eBay
The ECL's indicate it was built without head rest or power windows. No way to tell about the A/C from pics.
I have the same 66 and the ECL code is KN. It should be that or maybe DJ on this one. This car would need really close inspection. The ad says it is a Top Flight car though.- Top

Re: Rare 66 on eBay
Jerry, is the ECL the two letter code beside the 3 digit trim code? In this case the"BC" beside the "407"?
If so in the case of a standard trim car (STD.) this info doesn't seem to be provided.
Perhaps it may be part of the St. Louis body code (S____)?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks- Top
