What markings, codes or information would one find on an aluminum December 1960 BW T-10 main-case side cover?

Ray, thought some of the '61-2 guys would respond. '61 side cover is a T-10-148B. T10-148B side cover is stamped with that number on the inside. The T10-148B side cover outside has large gusset between the two shift lever posts, a smaller gusset on the rear shift post that from the outside of the post and is tapered to towards the edge. A short stubby gusset from the top of the shift post and gussets from the bottom of the shift post to the edge. That's as best as I can remember. Wayne Loron wrote a Restorer article years ago on 4 speeds and it's probably on the 61-2 CD-ROM available from the NCRS store. Hope this helps. Gary....

Thanks for the responses!

John, there seems to be a date code on the outside of the cover in the picture. I Have a T-10-148B cover that came off a 1968 T-10-D case (small front bearing) service replacement transmission and there are no markings on the outside.
