Can someone please describe the length of the vinyl welt above the back window. I've seen cars where the chrome tips are in different positions.

Should be at the vary end of the bow where you can still screw it on.

Ernest, the 61-2 JM doesn't give a specific length. However, it should be approximately 6-7 inches from the front to back seam. There should be a hole in the frame where the screws were originally screwed in. I use a tip of forefinger to tip of thumb rule to check the spacing from the seam. Hope this helps. Gary....

I measured the welt on a 62 top and it measured 47 1/2 inches from the center of the left screw to the center of the right screw.
I also measured the length of a welt that was removed from a 62 top I have and it measured 44 3/4 inches total length.
