Re: Aligning the 69 body to the frame.
I remember watching that thread a few months back and was curious to see how others went about removing their rads. From what I remember, it was "six of one"..."half a dozen of another" for tilting the rad support or removing the R/H upper control arm frame bolts so that the control arm could be moved out of the way to allow removal of the fan shroud.
Now that you mention it I sort of remember someone saying that the A/C cars made it pretty much impossible to tilt the rad support because of the shield over the right-upper bolt but I can almost guarantee with 99.9% certainty that there is no way to install the rad and shroud on a 69 BB car without doing one of those two procedures.
