    C1 carpet install

    When installing the gas pedal, do you slit the carpet to install the metal plate directly to the floorboard or bplt the pedal over the carpet?

      The pedal is bolted to the floor not into the carpet,the carpet has a so called slit made to clear the metal plate

          listen to Roy....i have done 2 C1 carpets on my cars and the gas peddle is bolted first then carpet put on there def shud b a slit in carpet to fit around the gas peddle John...
