For those who do not have a Sealpower or TW parts book, it might be of interest to know what YEAR and what ENGINE the car purports to have.

The Sealed Power/Federal Mogul cam of their part number TP147 is a clone of the GM #3927140, the so-called "Z-28 Off-Road Cam". Duration @ 0.050" is 257 degrees I/270 degrees E. Valve lift is 0.493"I/0.512"E. Lobe separation angle is 112 degrees.

      GM adjustment specs are 0.024" I and 0.026" E.

By the way, in my opinion this cam is too radical to use on a street engine.

I agree - that cam was designed for use in the Trans-Am cars, with Traco-built engines and cross-ram manifolds, with open headers, for WOT performance between 4000-8000 rpm. It's not street-friendly, and will develop even less low and mid-range torque than the "30-30" cam.

In addition you would be lucky to get even 10 MPG with that cam in normal driving on a SB, if that's important to you. It will have terrible idle quality/stability and not make any torque/power until about 4000 RPM.

It also requires high rate springs that will place the valvetrain in jeopardy in normal low speed driving.

That cam is strictly for SERIOUS racing only!
