    Help Needed to Identify Part

Would anyone be able to help me identify the part shown? I've attached three pictures (top, bottom and side). Note that on the bottom view there is a number (312775).

    Thanks for your help!

I don't recognize it, at all. However, assuming that the '312775' is a GM part number (which I kind of doubt), I believe it was a number assigned to some Chevrolet truck application.

      Joe,

Thanks for the quick response - I think you're correct (I don't believe it's a GM part number either. There appears to be a logo which is a circle and inside of the circle appears to be a square (slightly squewed to the right, with the letter "M" in it or a checkmark........ I've attempted to draw it on the attachment......

Does any of that make sense?

I am having difficulty attaching a larger picture - you probably can't enlarge the photo I attached, can you?

Those are symbols I've seen on other castings. I'm sure it's the identifier for the foundry.

No, I wasn't able to enlarge your photos. It might be possible, but I don't know how to do it.
