RJ, This forum is pleasing to the eye. Especially for us old guys. It's sooo bright. As many times that I have seen your post I never realized u joined NCRS 2 yrs before me. Anyhow I was just teasing about the survey's. Anyone that goes to all that trouble of compiling info desires a lot of credit. I mean look at Nolands old C2 book. You know by looking at some of the FI units on particular models as far as the numbers go that some errors could have been made. Yes surveys are only as good as the material received. I am not claiming your tanker is not real though so don't go get all flustered. We know it's not a typical repromobile. Well maybe the pinchwelts are wrong color though. JD

Bob -- do you STILL have that Z06 tanker # 9609 ? Was going thru my old Vette Vues, and recalled that it's on the cover of July 1977 issue, with extensive 10-page article (& beaucoup pics) by Bill Locke.

Rick, I found the July 1977,Vol 6#1 with RJ's very nice looking 63 with 2bar ko's.!! Sharp car 31 years ago. Wow. 10 pages. A ton of nice little pics. The quallity of the pics is pre-digital days of course. No color. I will say Bill Locke and RJ did a first class job on the article. I don't ever recall one car getting so much attention. With RJ and VV's permission I will make sum copies and put them on ebay cheep. Not allowed to say how much though as this ain't ebay.
P.S. Ironically I had a small piece of note paper marking the article. Amazing that 31 yrs ago Jorjorian was into things we are just talking about today. John D.

Yes Wayne I still have it and it sure doesn't seem like 30 years ago .

Nice photos and info in that article RJ. Couple of funny pics though with sum guy with lots of hair and a pretty wife. Nice original two bars also. JD
