John, Yes GM thinks a lot of their lubricants. My GMC Yukon XL has quadrasteer. The rear end was making all kind of noise when you went around the corner. I was prepared for the worst as the thing was a grinding a way. Turned out the problem was it needed new grease or oil for the clutch plates, etc. Anyhow quadrasteer has it's own worlds most expensive oil or grease. Was almost 40 buks a bottle as I recall. Took two bottles. But I was more than happy to pay 78.00 total for the problem to go away. This EOS subject on this forum is really being beaten to death. I am guily of doing this also.
Other companies for sure sell the same crap for a lot less money. John D.
