AT the Okla Chapter meeting last Sat, there was mention of possibly forming a new OPEN class. It would be open for all Corvettes and possibly have a stock and custom class.
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have advocated this for over 50yrs with massive rejection. It's about time NCRS has pulled their head out of the sand and finally acknowledged that a Corvette is a Corvette is a Corvette!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over the years, I have observed so many people turned off and turned away because of the attitude that if it ain't original factory, they are not welcome.
Potentially too late for me to be an active, enthusiastic member (I'm 82 now and short on time), BUT, for whatever reason, I have maintained my NCRS membership. Maybe now it's finally worth it.
I'm guessing my 56 "Airbox" would finally be qualified.
