My 63 has the wrong water pump pulley on it so in an effort to correct it. I purchased what I thought was the correct W/P pulley 3770245 which is larger than the 6 inch currently on there. It already appears to have the correct crank, idler pulley, water pump repro belt as replacements are the exact same size. The idler pulley looks like 3 3/4. What am I doing wrong Belt is 15375 or I believe 37.5 inches. It looks like an inch short. HELP! I'm about to put the wrong pulley back on.

You don't say what engine you have and you don't say whether the car has power steering or air conditioning. All of these things matter as far as determining correct pulleys and belts. In Appreciation of John Hinckley😀 1- Top

Bob,
The crankshaft pulley should be deep groove and part number end in 533. If everything lines up normal and it's just the reproduction belt that's where I would look for the problem.

Yes, I should have deduced that you were talking about a 340 or 360 hp application because of the idler pulley.
The correct pulleys are as follows:
balancer--------GM #3766987 (original pulley) replaced by 8/64 by GM #3858533. Both pulleys are 6-3/4" OD
waterpump------GM #3770245 7-1/8" OD
idler assembly----GM #3829191 (consists of pulley, bracket, & bearing)In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
