I cannot get my wipers to work on my '68. I started by checking the fuse and blower motor ground; then the override switch and door limit switch; then the relay and the motor; all checked okay. I found a loose ground connection for the override and door solenoid: started working but the washer pump stays on. shut them and now they don't work again. I have tried grounding each component separately too. I had a Corvette shop back in the 70s and have fixed these issues.

How specifically does it not work? Does the door open and close using the wiper switch and the over-ride pull knob?Mark Edmondson

Right now I have the door manually open. I even checked the negative battery cable to frame connection; ground to block and; ground to starter connections (everything is ground driven on a '68). originally before I found the ground issues on the override bracket under the column, that to lead to a brief operation of the wipers, I would hear a click at the motor. Now I hear nothing.- Top
