Is it me or am I looking at the tech. board incorrectly. It appears to me there are significantly less new threads and posts since the new system was installed.

I too have noticed what I believe to be fewer new posts and fewer replies to existing posts.
I'm sure the IT guys can quantify this better than my observations.
With the new system, I set my time filter on "TODAY" and maybe that's why I'm noticing less activity (not sure I was able to do that on the old system, or not).
thx,

Guys,
Did track amount of daily users for December and January. January had an average of 138 per day and December's average was 113.
Attached are statistics for New Topics aka Threads and New Posts since December 1st to date.

Threads lost to folks posting Tech questions on our Face Book page?
Does Face Book even have a Search function? Not taking advantage of this TB extensive archives seems a waste.
Really like this new Tech Board.

I don't understand why people participate in Facebook. I tagged it as a scam from day one and refuse to participate despite being asked by some friends and acquaintances to join.
It's just a data mining outfit that sucks up too much bandwidth with advertising.

I am lost here. When did the format change? Did I hear correctly we have a Facebook presence? Are there instructions on how this format can be navigated?

Well, like a few of us, I go into the TDB every day. Since the change, I noticed that the threads start with the last post at the top and the initial post at the bottom. You have to scroll to the bottom to get a context of the original posters thoughts. Seems counter intuitive and unlike any other Forum I have seen. Can we change it back to the format that allows us to read the initial post 1st?- Top

You can change thread sort order to fit YOUR preference.
Towards top of this page LEFT side is an underlined "Forums" drop-down menu.
First item on that drop-down is "New Topics" - Select that choice.
"New Topics" then offers you a "Search Result" choice of sort order on viewing threads.
My threads sort in same order as our old board. "Date-Last Update" and "Decending"

your setting now is Ascending.. Make it Descending as Dave says.. Also, if you don't care to scroll to the last post in the thread, touch the tab above the button Post Reply that says Latest Activity.. That will reverse the order for just that thread..- Top

Don and Dave, thanks for your replies, however, I set them to "Date last update" and "descending" and I'm still getting the last post 1st.- Top
