Somewhere in its past, a previous owner chrome plated many of the under-hood parts on my car. I've found plenty of incorrect parts from other year cars as well.
I am looking for information to identify the correct cooling fan for my 1964 non-AC car. The judging manual describes 3770529 as the correct fan for 63-64. Was that part number stamped or inked anywhere on the original part? What ink marks/stamps would be correct for this part?
I have what looks to be a GM part that has been chrome plated it has no part numbers anywhere on the part. I am looking for someone who can tell if if this is a correct part. If it turns out to be the correct 3770529 fan, I'll have it de-plated and paint it gloss black.
Thanks in Advance,
Dave
