    Trans mount

    Can someone post a picture of
    original transmission rubber mount bolts and washers?
    Size is 7/16-14 with thick washers I'd like to know headmarks and if flat or indented heads...

      I have the AIM, searching I couldn't find a pic of the bolt or headmark.
      Need the bolts and washers..

        Bolt GM 9419073: 7/16-14 x 1.0"; Gr. 5, dark natural or black phosphate; Hex head, trimmed; Headmark: A, M, probably others.





        All GM-discontinued.

                Leif,

                Based on my research, the large, thick flat washers in the photo you posted should be unplated, and probably dark in appearance. They look to be zinc or cad plated in that photo.

                I believe the flat washers should have a similar hue to the bolts and lock washers (GM 103328) in that photo. Those lock washers were dark (not very different from black phosphate) from their heat treatment. The same hi-collar lock washers were used at most bumper attachment locations from 1965-1967. The repro vendors typically have zinc plated fasteners in their kits.
