    gas gauge

I'm working under the dash of my 64 convertible. Is it reasonable to think I can remove the gas gauge and amp gauge without removing the cluster?

Well... if you are limber and have very small hands if might be possible, but not recommended. I would loosen the gauge cluster, pull it back and "hang" it on two (2), 6 inch x 1/4-20 threaded rods so you can get your hand and tools in there to remove the screws that hold those two gauges in the cluster. I would also remove the drivers seat and the stirring wheel.

Jeff you may get them out but you will never get them back in. Do as James says.

The seat is out. I'll take your advise.

I've actually done it several times. However, my body is in the category of being smaller than most, which is a clear disadvantage when my friends ask me to help them. 😅
